Commissioner of the City Police CV Anand, , has made partial amendments to the previous order ordering the indefinite cancellation of the All-Indian Industrial Exhibition Numaish-2022. According to the amended order, Numaish 2022 will not be canceled and will be “postponed” until January 10. He requested the Exhibition Association to take the necessary steps accordingly.

Among the rapidly expanding variants of Omicron, the Commissioner on Thursday issued a notice instructing the Exhibition

Association to close this year’s exhibition.

This year’s Numaish began on January 1st, but the next day local police sent a notice to the exhibition instructing them to suspend the event until January 10th.

In December 2021, the Telangana High Court instructed the state government to make a final call on whether to hold a Numaish exhibition based on the plea submitted by lawyer Khaja Aijazuddin. This directive takes into account the fact that it is a new variant of the COVID-19 virus.
