Police conducts search operations in Murtuzanagar

A total of 130 vehicles were seized, including 56 two-wheelers, by the South zone police during a cordon and search operation at Murtuzanagar Colony under the Rein Bazaar police station limits.

About 120 policemen, including personnel drawn from various police units under the supervision of DCP (south) Amber Kishore Jah, conducted the operation in view of



Milad-un-Nabi and the State Assembly elections. The police detained 13 persons with criminal background and are verifying their activities.

The police checked the houses of suspects involved in various criminal cases or activities. The local people were asked to inform police about any criminal activity to ensure the area is crime-free.
