Kalvakuntla Kavitha stated that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao had given top priority to women's safety. Taking inspiration from Telangana, 18 states had formed She Teams, she said.

"Even today I remember my first meeting with the Chief Minister after the formation of Telangana state. After the first law and order meeting, the Chief Minister called me — at that time I was Cyberabad police commissioner — and said he wanted Telangana to be the safest state in the country and asked me what are the requirements," Anand said.
"I replied that we would need `1.5 crores for patrolling vehicles to enhance patrolling for better policing. The Chief Minister immediately sanctioned `3 crore in the police budget. Even today my batchmates who are posted in other states tell me that I am very lucky to be posted as a commissioner of the Telangana state capital. All credit goes to KCR garu, Anand said.
