The South Zone police is leaving no stone unturned to ensure foolproof security in the wake of Ivanka Trump's visit to Taj Falaknuma. On Thursday, the police issued an advisory to the residents of areas adjoining Taj Falaknuma and asked them not to let out their homes to any strangers in the next few days.
The Falaknuma police organized a sensitization meeting with the residents of Farooq Nagar, Fatima Nagar, Bibi-ka-Chashma, Madina Colony and Purdah Gate, all areas adjoining the palace. More than 200 residents participated in the meeting.
Speaking about the precautions
being taken, additional deputy commissioner of police (South Zone) Mohammed Ghouse Moinuddin advised people not to let out their homes or flats to strangers. He stressed on the need to alert the police if anyone finds a suspicious person roaming in the area. The locals interacted with the police and assured their cooperation.
“We have conducted an awareness meeting with the local residents and advised them not to entertain any stranger for the next few weeks. The people responded positively,” said Syed Fiaz, assistant commissioner of police, Falaknuma.
