Telangana police have issued prohibitory orders to the citizens during the counting of votes for the Assembly elections, slated for Sunday. The prohibitory orders will be enforced from 6 am on December 3 (the counting day) till 6 am on December 4. Hyderabad, Rachakonda and Nizamabad police have already issued orders in their respective jurisdictions.

Section 144 of the CrPC will be strictly in



place.

While liquor outlets will remain closed during those hours, star hotels, clubs, bars, pubs, hotels and restaurants are also prohibited from serving liquor. Also banned are bursting of crackers and taking out rallies.

Any violation of these orders will attract strict action, cautioned Hyderabad commissioner of police Sandeep Shandilya here on Friday.
