Police issues traffic curbs at Raj Bhavan Road for I-Day

In view of 73rd Independence Day celebrations on Thursday, the Governor of Telangana State will be hosting a reception at Raj Bhavan, Hyderabad at 5:30 pm on the same day,  Additional commissioner of police (traffic), Anil Kumar, issued a traffic advisory.

A large number of dignitaries and guests are expected to attend the programme. Their vehicles will be parked at earmarked parking places in the vicinity of the Raj Bhavan and there is likelihood of traffic congestion on the following routes: From Rajiv Gandhi Statue, Somajiguda to Khairtabad Junction i.e., on Raj Bhavan road both sides. In view of the above, the commuters using Raj Bhavan road are advised to take alternate routes in order to avoid



inconvenience from 4:30 pm  to 8 pm.  Following is the parking arrangement for guests attending function at Raj Bhavan

All VVIPs including  CM of Telangana State, Deputy CM of Telangana State, Chief Justice of Telangana State High Court, Hon’ble Chairman of Telangana State Legislative Council, Speaker of Telangana State Legislative Assembly, Central Minister and  Ministers of Telangana State will enter through Gate-I and exit through Gate-II. Their vehicles have to be parked at the earmarked parking lot inside Raj Bhavan. All other guests holding pink car passes will enter through Gate 3, park their vehicles inside Raj Bhavan and exit through the same gate.
