Police on alert for Babri Masjid anniversary

South Zone police are on high alert, with 1000 police deployed in South Zone. Rapid Action Force (RAF) and Telangana State Special Police platoons are being pressed into service. Cops will have an eye out for right wing outifts like Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad, that plan to celebrate the day as “Shaurya Diwas”.



Muslim fundamentalist organization Darsgah Jihad O-Shahadat has also planned public meetings and protests. 

The trial for Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid title dispute case in Supreme Court will commence on December 5. Establishments and schools be closed on Dec 6.
