Polling in MLC elections for Telangana Legislative Council ends

In Telangana, polling came to an end by and large on a peaceful note in the two Graduate constituencies for State Legislature Council. 

According to Election Commission authorities, about 64 per cent polling recorded in Mahabubnagar-Ranga Reddy-Hyderabad constituency while it is little more in Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda constituency. It may go up



further as some voters were in the queues when the polling concluded at 4 PM.

Counting of votes will take place on 17th of this month. The biennial election for the two graduate’s constituencies  for the State Legislature Council was necessitated as the seats will fall vacant by 29th of this month.
