President Droupadi Murmu will be gracing the Global Spirituality Mahotsav in Hyderabad on March 15. The Four-Day, one-of-a-kind spiritual congregation yesterday and will continue till Sunday at Kanha Shanti Vanam, the headquarters of Heartfulness, situated on the outskirts of Hyderabad. The Event is bringing spiritual leaders from all faiths and beliefs to one platform at the world’s largest meditation centre. The Union Ministry of Culture is organising the event in coordination with the Sri Ram Chandra Mission and others.
Union Culture Minister G Kishan Reddy earlier said the conference is in continuation of the country’s ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ ideology with solidarity among all classes, castes, and religions. The Global Spirituality Mahotsav is being held with the main theme, ‘Inner Peace to World Peace’ will also have panchakarma centres set
up for those who want to avail therapeutic sessions.
Over 300 spiritual Gurus from across the country and all around the world are coming close to discuss various topics relating to religion, spirituality and how it helps mankind among others. About one lakh participants are expected to attend the event.
Besides bringing together spiritual leaders from all faiths at the world’s largest meditation centre, the four-day Summit will have multiple panel discussions, an exhibition showcasing India’s spiritual history, and an immersive experience through books and music. Some of the organisations coming together for the event include Ramakrishna Mission, Parmarth Niketan, The Art of Living Foundation, The Mata Amritanandamayi Math, Archbishop of Hyderabad and others.
