Prohibitory orders in Hyderabad on April 11

Anjani Kumar, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City, with a view to maintain public order and peace in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, has prohibited assembly of five or more persons in a radius of 200 mtrs. from the Polling Stations within the limits of the twin cities on April 11, in connection with General Elections to Lok Sabha Parliamentary Constituencies.

 

This order will remain in force from 0600 hours on April 11 to 2000 hours on April 11.

The public are hereby informed that, any person



violating the above orders shall be liable for prosecution.

The Commissioner has also order that the Toddy / Wine Shops, Bars attached to Restaurants, Military Canteen (including Bars in Star Hotels and registered clubs) situated within the limits of the twin cities shall remain closed from 1800 hours on 09-04-2019 to 1800 hours on 11-04-2019 in connection with General Elections to Lok Sabha Parliamentary Constituencies – 2019 to be held on April 11, in the interest of Public Peace and tranquility.
