Prophet remarks: 'Not scared of bullets or jail', says Raja Singh after his re-arrest

Telangana Police arrested suspended Bhartiya Janta Party MLA, T Raja Singh again on Thursday from his residence in Hyderabad. This comes days after he was released on bail on Tuesday for his controversial remarks against Prophet Mohammad.  

The suspended BJP MLA was picked up under Act No.1 of 1986 (Preventive Detention



Act), police said.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Hyderabad police arrested Raja over his alleged remark that was aimed at a certain religion. Later in the day, BJP also suspended him over his controversial remarks. 

The BJP, in a statement, also asked Singh to respond to the show cause notice within 10 days.
