Pulse polio on Jan 28

Health Minister Dr C Lakshma Reddy stressed the need for building a new society without polio problem by active involvement of people. He exhorted the people to ensure that their children of 5 years age get polio vaccination in the state on Jan 28. The pulse polio program will be conducted across the state and vaccination will help avoid disabilities to the children he



said. He said that newspapers and television channels have to give wide publicity for pulse polio program.

This time the government plans to administer pulse polio drops to 36,55,204 children across the state through 22,768 centers he said. The program will also be conducted for next two days, the minister said.
