To ensure hassle-free darshan of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy at Yadadri for devotees the temple management will be issuing QR code enabled tickets.
Yadagirigutta Temple Development Authority (YTDA) Vice-Chairman G Kishan Rao said government organization Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) was entrusted with the task of managing and operating the ticketing system.
There would be about 20 ticket counters atop the hill and devotees would have to obtain the desired tickets, including special darshan and free darshan. The idea was to ensure comfortable darshan for devotees and tickets would be issued in hourly slots, he explained.
To begin with, limited counters would be operated and depending on the rush,
the temple management would be operating more counters, he said, adding emphasis was being laid on facilitating quick darshan for devotees without any waiting time.
The ticketing system would be similar to the one being used by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams at Tirumala. After obtaining the tickets, devotees would be heading towards the sanctum sanctorum through the queue complex and officials would be scanning the tickets of each devotee, he explained.
All measures were being taken to facilitate smooth movement of devotees in the queue complex. For the convenience of senior citizens and differently-abled persons, two escalators have been established to help them reach the sanctum sanctorum comfortably, he added.
