Rachakonda Police hold traffic awareness

The Traffic Marshals of the Rachakonda Police organised a traffic awareness programme in different areas of Malkajgiri on Monday.

The group highlighted the need for following traffic rules and regulations every day. This apart, the Traffic Marshals distributed face masks to the public and asked them to adhere to the safety norms of Covid-19 like maintaining social distance and to avoid big gatherings. 

The volunteers also asked



commercial establishment owners to adhere to the night curfew and close their shops early to reach home by 9 pm.
Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh M Bhagwat said Traffic Marshals were determined to act as a bond between the cops and the public to be a responsible part of the society. “It is heartening to see the volunteers add to the efforts of the law enforcement in bringing about social discipline,” he said.
