Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar will undertake campaigning for the Telangana Assembly polls on November 24, party sources said on Tuesday.
Rahul Gandhi will conduct a roadshow in the Jukkal on November 24 while Shivakumar will conduct a roadshow in the Kamareddy. The Congress’ national leadership has laid special focus on Kamareddy, where it has pitted Revanth Reddy against BRS president and Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao.
Last week, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah campaigned in Kamareddy in support of Revanth Reddy,
where he released the BC Declaration, which promised several sops for the social and economic upliftment of Backward Classes.
AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge will campaign in Alampur and Nalgonda on November 22, while Priyanka Gandhi will campaign on November 24, 25, and 27 in 10 constituencies across multiple districts.
From other parties, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to address a public meeting in Kamareddy on November 25. BSP chief Mayawati is expected to campaign in Suryapet and Siddipet on November 22.
