Rahul Gandhi to nominate CLP leader

The newly elected Congress party MLAs to the Telangana State Legislative Assembly have decided to leave it to party president Rahul Gandhi to nominate their leader.

AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal who met with all the party MLAs on Thursday morning at a meeting of the Congress Legislature Party meeting, said it was the unanimous



decision of the MLAs to ask Rahul Gandhi to nominate their leader.

The CLP meeting held at one of the committee halls in the State Legislative Assembly, was also attended by AICC General Secretary RC Khuntia, party MLC and senior leader MD Ali Shabbir, AICC secretaries K Sreenivasan and Saleem Ahmed.
