Rahul Gandhi to tour Telangana from Aug 13

Congress president Rahul Gandhi will visit the State later this month for a two-day tour, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president N Uttam Kumar Reddy said.

The national party president will arrive in the city on August 13 and will tour Ranga Reddy district the next day and address a public meeting.

Rahul’s visit to the State comes amidst continuing push



by the Congress to reach out to people through its ‘Praja Chaitanya Bus Yatra’. The party has so far conducted two phases of the tour, with the third phase set to be launched soon. The opposition party had been for some time looking forward to Rahul Gandhi’s visit to the State and expects the party president to give a boost to the morale of its leaders and cadre.
