Train aficionados and food connoisseurs can now have a unique convergent experience at the ‘Restaurant On Wheels’ at the Kacheguda railway station, where the first-of-its-kind coach restaurant in the station promises a novel experience to visitors.
The restaurant has been set up on two refurbished heritage train coaches, with aesthetic interiors, to cater to the heavy footfall the station witnesses daily.
Boasting a multi-cuisine menu, ranging from traditional south Indian foods to northern,
Mughlai and Chinese, the restaurant is located near the circulation area at the main entrance to the station.
The restaurant will operate round-the-clock to cater to the rail passengers, providing several hygienic and quality food and beverage options, officials said.
Arun Kumar Jain, the general manager of South Central Railways, said: "Food connoisseurs of Hyderabad will get another distinctive food service option in the twin-cities region."
