A sudden spell of summer shower ended up disrupting briefly the Metro Rail services on the Ameerpet-Nagole route on Friday evening.
According to the Metro Rail officials, a big advertisement board flex fell on the 25kv electric wires of Metro near Prakashnagar station that disrupted the train
movement.
Engineers were immediately deployed to remove the flex, the officials said and added that the work had to be taken up with extreme care given the high voltage electric traction and rain.
After the flex was removed, the services were restored in both directions on the route.
