The Met department said on Sunday that heavy rain is very likely to lash at isolated places across Telangana from July 22 to 25 because of the cyclonic circulation over south Chhattisgarh and its neighbourhood now lies overnorth madhya Maharashtra and its neighbourhood.
The bulletin said cyclonic circulation between southeast and adjoining east-central Bay of Bengal and north Andaman sea persists. As a result rainfall occurred at a
few places in Telangana, including Vikarabad district.
While there was 3 cm rain in Mominpet in the district one cm each occurred in Peddemul, Tandur, Bomraspeta and Vikarabad. According to the forecast, light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur at many places across Telangana from July 22 to 25. No large change during the period July 26-28 is the weather outlook.
