After a dry spell in October, Telangana state is set to experience rain in the first week of November.
According to a statement by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the influence of strong easterly/northeasterly winds from the Bay of Bengal to the South Peninsular India and trough over Bay of Bengal will bring rain over the next seven days.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely in isolated places in the state in the next six days, under the influence of the fresh wave of the
easterly winds.
As per the Telangana State Development and Planning Society’s report, rain is expected in Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Suryapet, Nalgonda, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, and Jogulamba-Gadwal districts.
Meanwhile, minimum temperatures are expected to be in the range of 17-20ºC and maximum temperatures are likely to hover around 32-34 ºC.
In the next 48 hours, Hyderabad will experience winds with haze/mist and high levels of humidity.
