Rains in Hyderabad over next 24-48 hours, IMD warns of thunderstorms

Hyderabad is likely to see generally cloudy skies with light to moderate rain and gusty winds (30–40 kmph) over the next 24–48 hours the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted.

Light to moderate rainfall and thundershowers will perceive at isolated locations across Telangana until April 24, with thunderstorm warnings issued for several districts from



April 18.

The extended wet spell is expected to be accompanied by lightning and gusty winds in some areas, prompting the agency to issue yellow-level weather alerts.
