The Hyderabad International Airport, on Monday, was recognised as the world’s best airport in the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) passengers survey — in the 5-15 million passenger per annum category — for 2017. The award was conferred by the Montreal-based Airports Council International (ACI), based on passenger feedback.
Commenting on the announcement, Srinivas Bommidala, chairman (airports),
GMR Group said: “This is a recognition of the collaborative work of all stakeholders at Hyderabad Airport. I applaud the efforts made by employees of GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd (GHIAL) and that of entire Airport community.”
SG K Kishore, CEO, GHIAL termed the award as a matter of “great pride” and thanked the Ministry of Civil Aviation for its support.
