Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh will inaugurate the new premises of the regional unit of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in Hyderabad on Friday.
The new office cum residential complex has been constructed at Khanamet area of Madhapur in Hyderabad in an area of over 4 acres at a cost of 45 crore rupees. The foundation stone was laid in 2016 for the
project.
The NIA Hyderabad office has the jurisdictions in the states of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
It may be recalled that the regional office of the NIA had handled the probe relating to Lumbini Park-Gokul Chat twin blasts case, Mecca Masjid blast and Dilsukhnagar Twin Bomb Blast cases amongst many.
