The Ramagundam commissionerate police handed over 200 mobile phone worth Rs.25.68 lakh to their owners in a cell phone recovery mela held at Godavarikhani on Wednesday.

CCS and IT cell teams under the aegis of CCS Inspector Kamalakar had recovered the



mobile phones that were either stolen or lost. Commissioner of Police M Srinivas handed over the phones to the owners. Speaking on the occasion, CP explained about the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) portal, which was being used to trace lost or stolen mobile phones.
