Ramesh Pokhriyal inaugurates new building at UoH

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Tuesday virtually inaugurated the Annex building of the School of Humanities of the University of Hyderabad (UoH).

Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister of Education said that the New Education Policy is aimed at ensuring a world-class education in the country.

He reiterated the importance of languages and language studies



and said, “Languages like Sanskrit are a storehouse of knowledge. We need to know these languages to unearth the valuable knowledge of ancient times.”

Union Minister of State for Education Sanjay Dhotre, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs G Kishan Reddy, UoH Vice-Chancellor, Prof Appa Rao Podile, and among other university officials took part in the event.
