Rayalseema Express derails in Nizamabad district

A compartment of Rayalaseema Express derailed near Sirnapally railway station in Nizamabad district on Saturday morning. No casualties were reported in the incident that disrupted the trail traffic on the single line between Hyderabad and Nizamabad, according to South Central Railway



officials.

The train running between Tirupathi and Hyderabad was recently extended to Nizamabad. As it neared Sirnapally railway station, wheels of the three A/C compartment jumped the racks and the bogey derailed. None was injured, authorities said. Efforts are on a war footing to restore the traffic.
