Users can book the slots online for the registration of properties from today and the registrations will begin from December 14 at the sub-registrar offices. The slot booking process will begin today across 141 sub-registrar offices in the state.
The government directed the state Chief Secretary not to hold the land registrations unless the slot is booked. The registrations will be made in the old method
under CARS with slot modes. The court also accorded permission to the government on Thursday to insist on the Property Tax Identification Number (PTIN) for registrations.
