Member of Parliament from Malkajgiri Revanth Reddy resigned as Congress working president. His resignation comes after the AICC president Rahul Gandhi quit his post. 

Revanth said that he has resigned for the betterment of the Congress party's future. He said that he will ensure to strengthen the party even without the



position. 

Several Congress leaders across the country have resigned to their posts in honour of Rahul Gandhi who quit the position ensuring accountability for the party's defeat in the Lok Sabha elections. 

TPCC working president Ponnam Prabhakar also resigned to his post urging the Rahul Gandhi to continue as president.
