In Telangana, water levels of River Godavari have reached 51.10 feet at Bhadrachalam following incessant rains in the riparian areas. The authorities have issued the Second warning and asked people in low-lying areas to move to safer locations. The district authorities have opened over 50 rehabilitation centres in and around Bhadrachalam.

Flood threat



looms over several villages in Bhadradri Kothagudem district. Over a dozen villages in Dummugudem and Charla blocks as the Godavari and its tributaries are on spate.

Meanwhile, the Met Department has predicted moderate rainfall in the state till tomorrow and issued an yellow alert to about 10 districts.
