Rs.100 crore released for Aarogyasri

Govt. of Telangana released Rs. 100 crore to clear the pending bills of Aarogyasri. The total claim is Rs. 260 crore. It is expected that within the next 2-3 days, Govt. would release another installment of Rs. 132 crore.

It may be mentioned that there are 244 private hospitals in which Aarogyasri scheme is



being implemented. 89 hospital managements had threatened the Govt. that if the pending bills are not cleared, they would stop treatments.

CEO of Aarogyasri Trust had convened a video conference with the concerned officials of the districts to know the services provided under Aarogyasri scheme.
