Road Transport Corporation (RTC) Joint Action Committee (JAC) union members in the city said they will go on strike after June 2, if chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao does not take action to revise RTC employees pay scale.

Union members made the announcement at a public meet at the central bus station on Wednesday, attended by employees of RTC and their families.

They said while the



constitution of Pay Revision Commissions (PRCs) for government staff is due in July, 2018, the constitution of PRC of RTC employees was due as of April 1, 2017.

“If our demands are not met, we will announce a strike. All unions under RTC JAC will participate,” said K Hanumanthu Mudiraj, general Secretary, Telangana Jathiya Mazdoor Union and JAC joint convener.
