A padayatra seeking to educate the vehicle drivers about aspects of road safety, wearing helmet by motorists and using seat belt while driving a car was conducted at Nagole on Wednesday.
The padayatra was conducted as part of Road Safety Month to spread message on road safety and the need for motorists to be careful to avoid road accidents.
Messages on following traffic rules and provisions of Motor Vehicle Act apart from the importance of not driving under the influence of alcohol were also spread during the event.
The program had the participation of Nagole Incharge RTO, K. Amarnath, MVIs, Anitha, Sridhar, Vishnu Deepak along with SI Nagole, Shiva Naga Prasad and ministerial staff.
