Salar Jung Museum awarded ISO certificate

Salar Jung Museum has been awarded the ISO certificate in recognition of the work done by the museum for energy saving and environment protection.

The award was presented to director of the museum Dr A. Nagender Reddy on Wednesday at Raj Bhavan in the presence of Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan, who is chairperson of the museum.

The ISO



certification was given in three categories which included Implementation of energy saving practices, implementation of greenery and environmental promotion activities. The third category was the acquisition and collection of objects, conservation of objects, carrying out research on objects, exhibition of objects to the public and documentation of objects.
