Saptarshi Roy takes charge as NTPC Director (HR)

Saptarshi Roy has taken over the charge as Director (HR) of National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) with effect from November 1, 2016.

Roy  is a graduate in electrical engineering and with a career spanning over 36 years had made outstanding contribution to NTPC as regional executive director (north) and ER-I regions as well as executive director (corporate planning) besides head of HR at



projects and corporate office.

His major contribution was in the HR framework of the company by introducing various innovative ideas and helped NTPC to secure the best company to work for, since 2008.He played a critical role as HR head in managing transition and people integration issues during acquisition of old assets and turning them around into successful ventures in NTPC.
