More than 120 students from eight different schools from the city participated in various competitions organised as part of World Wildlife Conservation Day and Praja Palana – Praja Vijayotsavalu, at Nehru Zoological Park here on Wednesday. Drawing and painting competitions on the topic of wildlife



conservation were organised on the occasion.

Zoo curator, J.Vasantha, deputy curator, Barnoba, and staff members participated in a plantation programme organized at the Black Buck enclosures. Plant species like Juvvi, Marri, Narepa, Agesa etc were planted in the zoo premises.
