School to pay Rs.5 lakh in aid to rape victim in Hyderabad

The management of Azaan Gems International School announced a sum of Rs 5 lakh rupees to the parents of the child who was raped by a supervisor of the school to render as fixed deposit in the victim’s name in any national bank of their choice. Also, the school management said they will provide free education throughout her schooling, and will also assist with her further education. 

The management of Azaan Gems International School condemned the ghastly and cowardly act of sexual assault of a child of their school.

management said that they stood with the family of the child and wanted the perpetrator of this heinous crime to be brought to justice at the earliest.

“The monetary aid is not compensation but an assurance to the girl against the financial and social impediments. 

The aid is a security for her future and her continued education. She will also be provided free education throughout her schooling tenure, and will also be assisted with her “higher education”, said chairman of the school Dr Yousuf Azam.
