SCR releases new railway time table

South Central Railway (SCR) General Manager Gajanan Mallya on Monday released the new ‘South Regional Time Table-2019’ which came into effect from the same day. The time table also comprises of information related to trains operating on Southern Railway, South Western Railway and Konkan Railway.

The new South Regional Public Time Table book comprises of Express and Passenger Train Timings of all the four Zones including SCR.

In addition, information related to commercial and passenger amenities, abstract timings of selected mail/express trains at all India level, SCR maps and Indian Railway maps are available.

The salient



features of new Public Time Table includes information pertaining to trains introduced, diversion of trains, extension of trains, increase in frequency of trains, experimental stoppages provided over SCR, speeding up of trains, change in train timings of originating/ terminating and passing through South Central Railway.

According to officials, South Central Railways speeded up the train services to reduce the travelling time. The speeding up of train services ranges from 125 minutes to 10/ 5 minutes. Nearly 58 trains have been speeded up to 15 minutes, 21 trains have been speeded up between 15 minutes and 30 minutes.
