The South Central Railway (SCR) has announced the operation of several ‘festival special trains’ between various destinations.
The special trains include:
SMVT Bengaluru-Santragachi-SMVT Bengaluru (Train No. 06285/06286), which will departure at 02:00 on October 21 from SMVT Bengaluru and arrive at Santragachi at 11:10 on the next day. The special train will stop at Krishnarajapuram, Bangarpet, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Renigunta, Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Vizianagaram, Palasa, Berhampur, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrakh, Balasore and Kharagpur stations in both directions.
The MGR Chennai Central-Bhubaneshwar-MGR Chennai Central special train (Train No. 06073/06074) will departure at 23:45 from MGR Chennai Central and arrive at 18:30 at Bhubaneshwar on the next day. The journeys will start on October 23, October 30, and November 6 with the stoppage including Gudur, Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Vizianagaram, Palasa and Khurda road stations in both directions.
MGR Chennai Central-Santragachi-MGR Chennai Central special train (Train No. 06071/06072) will start at 23:45 from MGR Chennai Central (Saturdays) and arrive at 03:45 at Santragachi (Mondays) and the journey will start on October 21, 28, and November 4. The stoppage includes
Gudur, Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Vizianagaram, Palasa, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrakh, Balasore and Kharagpur stations road stations in both directions.
SMVT Bengaluru-Bhubaneshwar New-SMVT Bengaluru (Train No. 06287/06288) will start at 04:00 October 21 from SMVT Bengaluru and arrive at 06:30 at Bhubaneshwar New on the next day. It train will stop at Krishnarajapuram, Bangarpet, Katpadi, Renigunta, Gudur, Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Duvvada, Pendurti, Kottavalasa, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road, Palasa, Berhampur, Chatrapur, Khurda road and Bhubaneswar stations in both directions.
The departure of the Nanded-Panipat-Nanded special (Train No. 07635/07636) will be at 05:40 on October 26 and October 27 from Nanded and arrive at 13:15 at Panipat on the next day. The stoppage is Purna, Parbhani, Jalna, Aurangabad, Manmad, Bhusawal, Khandwa, Itarsi, Viragana Lakshmibai Jhansi, Agar Cantt, Palwal and New Delhi stations and vice versa.
Ernakulam-Dhanbad special (Train No. 06077) will start at 23:55 on October 20 from Ernakulam (Fridays) and arrive at 23:00 at Dhanbad (Sundays). The stoppage include Aluva, Thrissur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Perambur, Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Vizianagaram, Rayagada, Sambalpur and Rourkela stations.
