SCR to run 16 special trains for Medaram jatara

South Central Railway will be running 16 Special Trains to Medaram Jatara. As the tribal festival of Telangana, Medaram Sammakka Saralamma Jatara is approaching, the state government has speeded up the arrangements on all fronts. 

Keeping in view of the extra rush of passengers for the Medaram Sammakka Saralamma Jatara, 16 special trains will be run between Secunderabad-Warangal-Hyderabad; Sirpur Kagazhnagar-Khammam-Sirpur Kagazhnagar and



Kazipet-Sirpur Kagazhnagar-Kazipet.  

South Central Railway has made this announcement with the objective to cater to the extra rush of passengers during the festival. These special trains will run on January 31, Feb 1-3.Sammakka Saralamma Jatara is a tribal festival honouring the goddesses celebrated in the state of Telangana. This Jatara begins at Medaram in Tadvai mandal in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district.
