South Central Railway has decided to run four ‘Suvidha’ special trains between Hyderabad and Kakinada Town this month to clear the rush of passengers during puja holidays.
Train no 82709 will depart Hyderabad at 9.05 pm on October 12 and 17 and reach Kakinada Town at 9.25 am on the next day. In the return direction, people can avail of the service from Kakinada Town on October 13 and 18 at 6.10 pm. The train will reach Hyderabad at 6.35 am on the next
day.
A railway spokesperson said that these special trains, which will comprise AC II tier, III tier, sleeper class and luggage cum brake van coaches, will ply via Secunderabad, Nalgonda, Guntur, Vijayawada and Rajahmundry among other stations in both the directions.
On the other hand, 14 weekly special trains will run between Sambalpur and Banaswadi and people will have to pay special fare to book tickets.
