SCR to run 34 special trains for festive season

The South Central Railway (SCR) will operate 34 special trains to clear extra rush of passengers during the Dasara and Diwali festivals. Twenty special trains will be operated between Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam and vice versa and Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam and vice-versa and 14 special trains will be operated between Hyderabad and Durgapura (Jaipur) and vice-versa between September 28 and November 16.

Hyderabad-Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad special train (10 services): Train No 07071 Hyderabad-Visakhapatnam special train will depart Hyderabad at 9.10 pm on September 28,  October 5, 12, 19 and 26 (Wednesdays) and arrive/depart at Secunderabad at 9.35/9.40 pm and reach Visakhapatnam at 10.25 am the next day.

In the return direction, Train No 07072 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad special train will depart Visakhapatnam at 6.55 pm on September 29, October 6, 13, 20 and 27 (Thursdays) and reach Secunderabad at 8 am the next day.

Enroute, these special trains will also stop at Pagidipalli, Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Piduguralla, Sattenapalli, Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Tuni, Anakapalli and Duvvada stations in both the directions.

Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam-Hyderabad Special Train (10 services): Train No 07069 Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam special train will depart Secunderabad at 9.40 pm on September 30, October 7, 14, 21 and 28



(Fridays) and reach Visakhapatnam at 10.25 am the next day.

In the return direction, Train No 07070 Visakhapatnam-Hyderabad special train will depart Visakhapatnam at 6.55 pm on October 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 (Saturdays) and arrive/depart at Secunderabad at 8 /8.05 am the next day and reach Hyderabad at 8.45 am.

Enroute, these special trains will also stop at Pagidipalli, Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Piduguralla, Sattenapalli, Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Tuni, Anakapalli and Duvvada stations in both the directions.

Hyderabad-Durgapura (Jaipur)-Hyderabad Superfast Special Train (14 services): Train No 02731 Hyderabad-Durgapura superfast special train will depart Hyderabad at 9 pm on October 3, 10, 17, 24, 31,  November 7 and 14 (Mondays) and arrive/depart at Secunderabad 9.35/9.40 pm and reach Durgapura at 3.25 am on Wednesdays.

In the return direction, Train No 02732 Durgapura-Hyderabad superfast special train will depart Durgapura at 9.20 pm on October 5, 12, 19, 26 and November 2, 9, 16 (Wednesdays) and arrive/depart at Secunderabad at 4.20/4.25 am on Fridays and reach Hyderabad at 5.10 am.

Enroute, these special trains will also stop at Kazipet, Ramagundam, Manchiryal, Sirpur Kagaznagar, Ballarshah, Nagpur, Itarsi, Bhopal, Bairagarh, Sujalpur, Ujjain Jn, Nagada and Sawai Madhopur stations in both the directions.
