South Central Railway has decided to run 147 special trains to Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Kakinada, Rajahmundry, Narsapur, Tirupati, Kurnool, Khammam from Secunderabad, Nampally and Kachiguda railway stations. SCR CPRO Rakesh said that special trains would also be run to non-Telugu areas such as Tata Nagar, Nanded, Nagarsol, Jaipur,
Darbhanga, Ernakulam, Nizamuddin, Raichur and other places. He said that additional bogies would be attached to regular trains based on rush. To manage the rush on platforms, platform ticket price would be increased from Rs 10 to Rs 20 at Secunderabad, Nampally and Kacheguda stations.
