The Youth Congress is to launch the second leg of the yatra on August 1. This will cover the remaining 20 districts in the state.

Giving details of the yatra, TPCC vice-president M.R.G. Vinod Reddy, in-charge of Youth Congress and NSUI, said, "We called all the 33 district presidents for the meeting. They have been asked to make a success of the second phase of the yatra. We also discussed making a success of



the three-day plenary session of All India Youth Congress, slated to begin in Bangalore on Tuesday."

Meanwhile, Youth Congress president Shivsena Reddy burnt an effigy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi while raising ‘Save Manipur’ slogans.

"The grim situation in Manipur is horrendous. It’s the duty of every Indian to unseat the Modi government," Reddy said.
