Section 144 in Eight Assembly Segments Under Rachakonda Commissionerate

With the nomination process set to be underway from November 3 to 10 across the state, followed by withdrawal of nominations, Rachakonda police commissioner D.S. Chauhan has ordered section 144 at nomination centres in eight Assembly constituencies falling under its jurisdiction.

Persons violating the prohibitory orders shall be liable for prosecution, he said in a release here on Wednesday.
