Secunderabad Cantonment to get water on alternate days

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) has agreed to supply water on alternate days to Secunderabad Cantonment.  

In a meeting held at the Secunderabad Cantonment Board office on Monday, it was decided that the issue of irregular water supply would be



taken up with higher officials. The SCB has been grappling with shortage of water for years and had to pay arrears to Water Board. 

Senior officials said once the Cantonment wise demand is recorded, the Water Board would initiate water supply on alternate days.
