Secunderabad Railway Station platform ticket Rs.20 for Dasara period

In view of the Dasara festival, SCR announced an increase in the rate of Platform Ticket from present `10 to `20 for thirteen days starting from 21 September to 3 October, 2017.

The South Central Railway on Wednesday increased the price of platform tickets at Secunderabad station from Thursday to decongest the



platforms and avoid inconvinience to commuters.From now on, people will have to cough up `10 more to enter the railway premises.

This gives the SCR a chance to earn revenue as many people are accompanying their friends and relatives to see off at Secunderabad station with Dasara round the corner.
