Septic tankers told to register with HMWSSB

Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) instructed private septic tankers to register with it before 5 pm on January 7 for carrying out their operations.

Those who fail to register their vehicles and continue their operations will face stern action and the vehicles will be seized. The idea is to make the septic



tankers fall in line and follow the prescribed rules in handling the waste.

The sewage collected should not be dumped at will in open places and the same should be disposed at HMWSSB’s STPs across the city, said a press release. For details  log on to www.hyderabadwater.gov.in
