Seven Dead, 25 Injured In Telangana Factory Blast

In Telangana, seven people died after a reactor blast at S B Organic Chemical factory at Hathnoora Mandal in Sangareddy district last evening. According to reports, the deceased included the plant manager of the company. Another 25 sustained burn injuries in the accident. The condition of four workers is said to be serious. The injured were shifted to Area Hospital for treatment. 

The accident



took place after an oil boiler blasted and the fire spread immediately. The number of casualties may likely increase as most of them sustained severe burn injuries. At the time of the accident, 50 workers were in the unit. The Chief Minister expressed shock at the accident and directed the District Collector and Superintendent of Police to take up rescue operations.
