Soaring heat weather coupled with hot winds is parlaysing normal life across the State during the last few days. People are scared to venture out after 9 am. If they come out, people are taking precautions to protect themselves from the heat.

However, the labourers, who are working in soaring heat without taking precautions, are losing their lives. So far, seven persons have died of sunstroke



within a span of ten days in the erstwhile Karimnagar district. Surprisingly, four people lost their lives on Friday alone.

A farm labourer, Reddy Ramachandaram (26) of Polampalli of Thimmapur mandal, Gollapalli Jagan Goud (38) of Jagtial town, Kummarikunta Rajaiah (67) of Narsimhulapalli of Dharmaram mandal and a jeep driver, Ollala Venkateshwarlu of Jammikunta were died of sunstroke on Friday.
